When we first met, I was sleeping on my sisters sofa.
At that point I had just returned back to the states from a couple solo backpack trips throughout Europe and South America.
Close to a year before then, I had taken a leap in resigning from my nearly decade long successful, but no longer soulfully aligned corporate career.
On the surface it appeared as if I was in a very rocky position.
However deep down I actually felt clearer and happier than I had felt in my entire life up until that point.
I was at the beginning of building something that had been knocking on my hearts door for years prior.
Recognizing and appreciating all the lessons I had learned in my 'previous' life, while at the same time honoring the fact that I was in completely new and uncharted territories.
And although for a period of time I felt alone, I also felt deeply centered and aligned within my purpose, truly embracing where my path was guiding me.
It's been nearly five years since this point of time, and I'm in a completely different position then where I was then.
However one of the biggest lessons I learned prior, and have had the privilege of continuing to be reminded of, is that purpose must come before relationship.
As when that piece in itself serves as the anchor; then more clarity, sense of direction, and authentic happiness is created as a byproduct, for both people. 🙏🏿💜

This man is a top Sales Executive for one of the major professional sports leagues and reached out to me because he feels stuck in both his career and life.
He expressed that he appreciates what he’s been able to create in his profession thus far (consistently being on the top revenue producers in his organization), however at the same time he feels a bit mentally scattered and has reached a point in his life where he’s desiring to identify more of his purpose in life, as well as utilize his natural gifts in a different capacity.

I repeat, genuine happiness is an inside job.
Okay, I’m glad we could get that out of the way :-)
But in all seriousness, each and every one of us on this planet, desires to live a life of peace, purpose, and joy.
At the end of the day, I believe we’re all here in this beautiful planet to attend what I like to call Earth School.
A school that provides opportunities for us each and every day to learn new aspects about ourselves, and continue to evolve into our highest and most authentically aligned expression.
One of the aspects that I feel fortunate in deeply recognizing and bringing intentional and meaningful focus towards within my own life, is personally creating one where peace is at the foundation.
Through the cultivation of certain daily practices, as well as the reframing of each and every moment into being a loving teacher, I feel inspired to speak a bit more on the power we all have to shift our perceptions.

Do you possess more of a highly ambitious, over-achievement oriented, and ‘just get it done’ type of mentality?
One where if you’re able to reflect back from as early as you can remember, it’s always just been a part of you.
While you’re an open-minded listener, you love the art of being challenged; stretching both the mind and your abilities to perform within your life and professional work.
You even know that at times when you experience an outcome that isn’t the one in which you were aiming for (aka the goal), while initially feeling a sense of disappointment, it doesn’t last for too long because you’ve already stepped into a new activity or project to begin the process of re-exerting yourself again.
Can you relate to this?
If so, can you also relate to often feeling overstretched and exhausted too, maybe recognizing that something needs to shift or you’re going to burn yourself out, again.
